How do I light my beacon?

Open the app and tap the flame icon in the center of the screen. You'll see a confirmation animation, and your friends will be notified that you're available.

Who can see my location?

Only friends you've approved can see your location, and only when your beacon is lit. When you turn off your beacon, you disappear from the map entirely.

How do I add friends?

Go to the Friends tab and tap "Add Friend." You can search by username or share your unique invite link. Both parties must approve the connection.

How do I delete my account?

You can delete your account in the Beacon iOS app under Settings > Account. If you need help, email us at ignitebeacon@gmail.com. All your data will be permanently deleted within 30 days.

Is my location tracked when my beacon is off?

No. Absolutely not. We only access your location when you actively light your beacon. When it's off, we have no idea where you are. That's by design.
